Cancer Clients

Care and compassion are an important part of the healing process for individuals undergoing treatment for cancer. Massage therapy can be done in conjunction with your current regimen of chemotherapy, radiation, or biotherapies. Gentle massage therapy can help reduce pain, reduce anxiety and depression, help with fatigue, improve range of motion and help with mental clarity and alertness. Your massage will be light in touch as it is not recommended to receive deep tissue work while undergoing treatment.



Before your therapy begins we need two forms on file: the Client Form filled out by you and the Medical Provider form filled out by your doctor. If we have not received the form from your doctor, we will only perform Reiki for the session.

Massage can be contraindicated for the following conditions: Recent surgery (less than 4 weeks), blood clots, low blood counts, and current infection.

Reiki is energy work to help the natural healing process of your body and restore physical and emotional well-being. Every client with cancer will receive this energy work during their session. Clients report feeling warmth, relaxation, pain and anxiety reduction and an overall feeling of well-being after receiving Reiki.
